I wanted to make sure i choose the right images, so i did a few drafts where i played around with images and composition.
I used the main image as i thought it looked really professional the way the too girls are placed.
The white background also makes the image look professional. It looks like the girls have been on a proper professional shoot, like real artists.
On the second draft i used single images of the girls. This is because i originally wanted to write a profile on each girl, rather than a joint interview. This is because i thought that most fans will d will therefore rather read about their favourite. Fans will find they relate to each of the girls and are more likely to favour one than love them both.

I also edited the image so the girls have no background. This gives the girls a stronger image as they are just on a plan black background with nothing to hide behind. It makes the image much stronger, as they are completely on there own. This relates to my audience profile about the audience being individual people, with there own thoughts. People like this are strong and individual. Just like the girls in the band.

I then carried on editing with different fonts and pictures. I then decided i didn't like this look as i thought it looked to young for my magazine. I thought the font was too childish and i really didn't like the over all look. It also doesn't follow the codes of conventions very strongly as the heading is a bit all over the place. Therefore i decided to completely start fresh.

I started with some different images this time. i like the right hand image as the girls are smiling and look as if they are having fun. Whereas the in the main image the girls look much more serious and full of attitude. I did this so it looks as if the girls are usually seen as quite feisty, forward girls but just for INDZ they have shown there smiley side and are being open about their true selves just for us.

I carried on with the making and added fonts. I put the names in bold on the right hand side of the page. This is so when people flick through the magazine they will instantly see the names. If the names were on the right hand side of the page they are least likely to be seen when flicking through.

I wasn't sure what colour to use as on the background. I have kept the Green colour going through out the magazine however i don't think it's a bit too much for the entire background, and it looks to bold for the style of my magazine. I think the green looks too 'poppy' and not 'Indie' enough.
